Dissemination and publicity

The aim of the collaborating bodies is to make public as much as possible the scientific, technological and commercial results of the project. These actions include:

  • Creation of a website ( web site ) of the project: Within the project, a website for the project will be designed and developed, with material from all participating organizations. Then additional material will be created in relation to the project, which will be multiplied and updated frequently, based on comments and suggestions from the participating organizations. The site will be user friendly for people with disabilities.
  • Project Documentation: Upon completion of the project, a large volume of documents, articles, deliverables, technical reports and presentations will have been produced. The project will provide an extensive document with information about the project, as well as a two-page brochure that will present the project. The majority of documents will have a similar format, based on common standards for presentations, deliverables, reports, meeting minutes and general project documents. Also, a general purpose overall presentation of the project will be created.
  • Demonstrations of Prototypes: A set of demonstrations of prototypes will be defined and created to be developed at SOCS, in order to present the project, its solutions and its deliverables at important events and exhibitions.
  • Presentation of the work abroad: The innovative character of the work and its excellence on a global scale require the presentation of the work abroad, as several commercial perspectives are located outside the Greek borders. The publicity plan of the project includes participation in exhibitions of products and solutions.
  • Plan for the use and publicity of knowledge: The plan for publicity and exploitation of project results will be flexible and open to corrective changes. A detailed such plan will be drawn up towards the completion of the project when most of the technical requirements and specifications have been met.
  • Case Studies: These are targeted dissemination actions that relate to specific topics or products of the project with particular scientific interest or commercial perspective. As part of these actions the project will create small documents or brochures (eg 3-4 pages) that will present a technological solution or case study.
  • International Publicity: The project bodies will organize actions for the publication of the project results, in important organizations abroad. As the technical and research activities of the project evolve, the publicity actions will be intensified in the following additional directions and activities:
    • Presentations to potential clients, users, but also companies that may be interested in participating in the commercial use of the project technologies.
    • Preparation of press releases for Greece and abroad.
    • Disclosure of information in relation to technical and useful aspects of the products, applications and solutions of the project.
    • Create a contact list, which will include potential customers.
    • Linking the publicity plan with the co-operation actions, guided by the needs of the users and the market.
